some times ago i find the informtion in net that indians have deposited 1.4 trillion dollers r in swiss bank as black money. what is ur comment and straitegy to bring back the money in indian economy?
  Reply:

Generation of this huge amount of black money in India is due to high tax rates, too many bureaucratic hurdles in starting an enterprise and too much power with government babus without any responsibility leading to corruption. Our emphasis on free market economic policies will resolve all these issues automatically. We will bring back this black money into the mainstream economy by permitting it to be invested without being asked any embarrassing questions from the government and with just 10% taxes. This will give a big boost to the growth of economy eventually yielding more employment and taxes.

I do not know what am I doing here with the young generation? At almost seventy, I don't think I fit in here. but I truly endorse your views and lofty goals. Lofty, because in this country it is very, very difficult to bring about any change. It's all about power, greed and money. And if you have a good surname, so much the better. You may be wasting your time, my friend, even though I wish you the very best.

Searching a solution to problems of the society in a constructive way can never be a wastage of time. The positive response we are getting from all sections of society including a senior person like you gives us hope and inspiration.

Sir, i think alcohol, smoking, tobacco should be totally ban in india. I kno its gonna cut out alot of tax collected but its really very important if want a healthy n hardworkin youth. . N moreover as i\'ve observed most of d times eve teasing, rapes, accidents etc happen due to alcoholics. . So somethin so harmful for d society should be immediatly baned.. N for those who r already addicts, rehab treatment should be compulsory. . I kno its not gonna be easy but i can guarantee dat dis step wil cut short eve teasing n rapes to 50percent... Being a gal i kno dat... N secondly alcohol if cannot be baned immediatly den at least its prices should be raised to double. .

We are already in favor of banning smoking, because it forces others to inhale smokes. As to banning alcohol, tobacco etc., if a person does it in privacy of his house and does not disturb others, there is no need to ban it. But, if he indulges in eve-teasing and other crimes, then he must be punished severely.

Good ideas, But I would like to put out a few points. I - Please mention somewhere what is going to be your electoral strategy. In the era of splintered verdicts, what is going to be Jago's niche? II - Please remove the point about banning smoking. It clashes with your otherwise liberal viewpoint. III - Please consider using SITE VALUE TAXATION instead of income tax on your agenda. The value of urban sites can be self-assessed, is publicly known and thus cannot be hidden. Also, since individuals don't create site value, it does not act as a disincentive to effort and creativity in the way income tax does.
  Reply:

We do not believe in creating niche market -- we think in terms of the whole country. We will spread our message to everybody, as the whole country is dear to us. Please read FAQs and see the discussion on smoking in the guest book itself which took place a couple of weeks ago. Your last point is not clear.

I am an 18 years old engg. student.I want to contribute in empowering women though i dont have much time but i am good at writing articles and somehow manage my time.I am eager to fight and wipe out gender bias in our country forever. Please tell me if there is anything I can do.!

Jago Party wants to remove all discriminations based on sex -- whether it is for education, jobs, justice or personal freedom. This is the only way a woman gets empowered. Hence, by spreading the message of Jago Party, you will be doing a great service to women. Writing articles is of not much use -- and - who will publish it? Who has time to read it?

A general rule that comes to mind :: One country one rule. No cast creed religion or sex should be above country. If its bad for the country then get rid of teh rule.

This is in response to tripthi singh's comment below. Everthing is practical what needs to happen is to build willingness , self respect and self realisation amoungst people. people could come in for a curroupt society... but remembe that these people who have founded JAGO some form teh same society. if they can think diffrently and act so can we.. and we must do our best. Don't support idea contribute to teh idea by actions. I hope you become an active member and pick up one issue in your area , use RTI and publish teh results. Expousing curropt peole in publich space is the best punishment.

I have same aim like you but i am thinking by different way. According to me educaton can change the way of thinking of our common indian people & motivate them to stop to support current courpt/criminal politicians
  Reply:

No political party in India talks about eliminating corruption and its basic causes except Jago Party. So even if all people become educated, but no political party is interested in eliminating the corrupt system, it would not bring about any change in the society. Jago Party offers an option before educated people.

sir, your manifesto is highly impressive. But members joining your party are more or less from same corrupt society to which we belong. How you are going to judge them? You say that death sentence to corrupt and rapist, but do you think it is possible in democratic country like ours? You do not sound very practical. Are you going to make any amendments in constitution in this regard?Do we expect the picture prevailing in gulf countries ..like hanging people publically?Or like China shooting the criminals. When even supremecourt has given up today, your party is the only hope left out for the ordinary citizens like us. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST FOR A CLEAN AND JUST GOVT.,may God bless you

There is no contradiction between being democratic and giving death penalty for certain crimes. USA and Japan are democratic, but they have retained death penalty. WE will bring about necessary legal changes to give death penalty to rapists etc.

Hi, I don't agree with one point - no tax upto 4 lakhs of income. The government needs money to run this big country. By increasing the income slab, it will be a huge loss to the funds.
  Reply:

In terms of revenue loss, it would not be significant; but the relief felt by a large section of people would be great by this measure.

communal riots are the big problem of India.how you stop communal violenc?
  Reply:

Communal riots are due to not following the principles of secularism by present political parties. Jago Party is committed to secularism and non-discrimination of citizens on the basis of religion or caste.

what are your plans to expand the party in north east and make people aware here ! the north east in dangerous position due to infiltration and hence you need to clear the stand here!
  Reply:

We have already clarified our stand in the manifesto that we support strong measures to stop infiltration. Expansion of the party in the north east would be in the same way as in other parts of the country.
