When you join a MNC/any IT compnay, they will do background check of the candidate.Afterall for a small job if they verify like that why not our contesting leaders undergo background check for their ethical and moral stand. We agree with you in principle: there must be some objective tests before a person becomes eligible for contesting election or a Minister. The test should be of his aptitude, intelligence, communication abilities and knowledge.

About your views on Terrorism,there is a difference between the US and India.The police in the US has disciplined,trained and professional men,in India, blindly empowering the police would allow them to arrest and torture for no proper reason.First CREATE an empowered controlling body(like the IA in the US),then talk of empowering the police.

We are in favor of more autonomy for the police and for least possible political interference. Empowering police would not be harmful, if their decisions are subject to review by some independent panel of eminent people.

Sir dont u think there are people who dont have a degree but still posees the knowldge equalent or compared to what an degree holders posess. My request is the rule of graduation should not become an hindrance to person with ability and knowldge..A Person should be selected on tghe basis of his skills and knowldge and should not be turned doen just because he is not having a degree.

Boss, I had been a regular visitor of this website since 2007,when this site was just a few months old(you might even come across my comments in very early pages of guestbook as well) Let me tell you, a few things. 1. I came across the recent interview of Deepak Mittal in Etv Rajasthan, and it was extremely heartening to see, Jaago Party's heart being at the right place. In fact at the same place it was when the party didnt have even an election symbol. So, with time, this party have etched a very important place in my heart. 2. I strongly support each and every policy decision, especially the great guts with which Mr Mittal pushed the case for privatization and banning of reservation. It was a "manna" for my ears to say the least.But having said that, I would take an offence in this, about your policies on subsidies. Mr. Deepak Mittal, says, "aisa nahin hai ki mat do". He further goes on to say, the subsidy be paid in cash and transferred online. I ask why? Why cancel subsidies at the first place? Because of middlemen only? Please understand, if you provide susbsidies its at the cost of the national/state coffers. When you put your treasury into non economic activities, you weaken your balance sheet and destroy any semblance of strong and independent governance. I can argue and present my case conclusively lest, you want to hear it out. Please reconsider this area. Dont give in to the case of populism. Soham

In the long run, even cash subsidies should be withdrawn except for those who are really sick, old, disabled and unable to survive on their own. But, right now, a just system has to be put in place first before subsidies are withdrawn -- where everyone gets work and fair reward for his work.
