Hello, iam b.tech student. i came to know about this through the WEEK macsgine and it is a very good thought that not depending wholy on the government .ever individual should put some effort to strive for the nation and not blame the government for every reason and finally my opinion is to bring awareness about the democracy in the people as may people are thinking that they are only to be ruled by some one and even they dont know that they can contend in the election,so my main opinion is bring awareness among the people about democracy so that they come to know what are their duites and role in the society. thank you sir.

hello i m a B.Tech final year student and i have seen the politics of elections at a very fundamental level and have wandered abt the way candidates make fool of voters during elections.I have always thought of doing something constructive for people who do not understand power of their voting rights, but i could'nt find a way out. After hearing about Jago Party i thought that it might be possible to educate common people about their rights but in order to stand against corrupt, powerful and rich candidates it is required to accept the fact that only positive ideas are not enough.I am keen in joining the party and contest election from Rafiganj in Aurangabad district in Bihar and would like to know whether party funds the elections or not.My family was involved in honest politics but corruption era forced them to leave the politics.

The party will campaign for you and do all the possible publicity work with its limited fund. The remaining election expenditure would have to be borne by you.

You may join the party online or by sending SMS to 575758 after writing "JAGO", then your name, then name of your city. Even without joining, you can spread the message of Jago Party among your colleagues, friends, relatives etc by personal discussion, e-mail etc. You may also arrange to contribute financially. After joining the party, you yourself can start party activities in Asansol. Just send an e-mail regarding your willingness for this work to jagoparty@jago.in. We will do the rest.

The present state of affairs in the country are really grim. We have all become cynical and pessimistic. I am encouraged by what I read on the Jago website and will certainly do anything that I can to contribute. We have to rid India of its present crop of politicians who have bled this country dry. They have successfully fooled the poor ignorant people of India with the sole purpose of ammassing personal weath. Please dont give up and keep up the good work We Indians are with you.

(by the way what's the harm in dreaming)In case I am not going very far,if everything goes well withyour party...please do not let success go above your head.To remain down to earth at any cost is the utmost thing which is needed. A great idea and a great way to start..but i want to also emphasize that ; there should hav been a minimum qualification for your members to contest elections thus empasizing the need for education for all. Also eventhough most of the political parties hav a good manifesto there is no time bound programmes to implement them. And when the party becomes bigger and bigger there are always certain elements who will spoil the name of the party ..like what we saw in parliament the cash for vote scam..no individual should go from the party and join somebody else to enjoy the pleassures of power..u hav to address also all these issues before the organisation grows and its difficult to stop all these practices.Anyway all the best for your efforts to do something positive atleast...wish u all success .

We will select only very well-educated people for contesting election. Any one having been convicted on a criminal charge even once will not be eligible to contest from Jago Party ticket.
